I met Grayson and Ashley Falck at a local sandwich shop to go over their their wedding day timeline! A friend of theirs had posted on a local forum that Grayson and Ashley’s photographer had backed out last minute. They needed another portrait photographer for their wedding ASAP. They had to be on a small budget after their other Photographer completely fell out and took everything with her with no refund for the soon to be newly Weds!
I felt extremely honored to help them out on such short notice and in unfortunate circumstances! They had such an awful experience with their first photographer, I needed to ensure they knew what a professional photographer should do to ensure they serve, care and respect all of their clients! They took a chance on me and let me photograph their special day!
Grayson proposed by using his his amazing skills in his profession, welding. He made her a sign asking for her to be his! They we're married at the beautiful Heritage Park in Salt Lake City, UT!
Here we are one year later, and they are still as in love and adorable as ever! They embody the full definition of country loving people: Hospitable, kind, up for anything and so generous! Also can’t forget the cowboy boots! They are so grateful to have found each other that they truly soak in every minute of being together.
They brought one of Ashley’s best friend Rileigh to carry and take care of all the stuff! That was a great reunion to see her, since she was a beautiful bridesmaid at the wedding! Rileigh not only held all of the extra stuff but even helped me block the sun a few times to ensure I got the perfect shot!
We wanted to have an outdoor aesthetic to mirror their relationship and I feel like we picked the perfect place! Ashley messaged me and suggested that they were open to doing any water shots if I wanted to…. WHAT!?!??! I was SO elated and excited!!! This is something I have been looking to do for the entire summer! I told Ashley yes and at our session and she said “we like to have fun! And to be honest I actually said yes to you before even telling Grayson…but either way he would have been fine with it!”
IT’S A GOOD THING WE DID because it was BLAZING hot outside! The cool lake was the perfect way to cool off at the end of the session!
Congtratulations on your one year anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Falck! I am so grateful that you trusted me for your wedding and continue to love what I do!
