I will never get over this amazing styled session that I did for the summer! Alexa reached out to me and asked if she could shoot with me! I was ASTOUNDED at how gorgeous she is, how amazing her portfolio is and was so extremely excited that she wanted to set up a fun styled shoot! I wanted to do something different, fun, and whimsical so I went to my go-to place for all my creative boards of ideas… hint hint.. pinterest!
I had found my vision; summer goddess. I put together a mood board and she immediately went to work! She found a florist, makeup artist and a Mary’s Bridal SLC that allowed us to grab a few bridesmaids dresses to use. All of them agreed to and ready to go in span of only a few days! My own personal connections didn’t even get the chance to respond that’s how quickly this session was set up!
I met up with the florist to pick up the flowers, and then went into the bridal store solo to pick out some dresses. The owner, Carol Diamse was so accommodating and was willing to let us use whatever we needed for our vision! She is the BEST vendor, and was so kind and understanding of what we wanted; to have some fun! Not only that? But all of their dresses for weddings and bridesmaids were TO DIE FOR gorgeous and so on trend!
Alexa drove over an hour+ to do this session with me. Not only that, she had just recently had surgery on both of her feet the past few months and was still in the ends of recovery. We got to Tunnel Springs Park in Salt Lake City a bit early and it was HOT HOT HOT outside. We checked the temperature and it was over 90 degrees. I had bought some coconut water as well as some water to keep us cool as we decided where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do.
Alexa could do no wrong. Every single shot was pure gold. She knows exactly how to pose and was open to any and all of my suggestions. We laughed, got to know each other, enjoyed our amazing session and by the end I was so sad that she lived so far away… She is truly an amazing, caring, talented, beautiful individual that I am so lucky to have met! She was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish!!
