Little Miss Aliyanna turns one years old today! I photographed Aliyanna before she was even born! Her sweet mom Marianna graduated high school last year and I took her graduation photos while she was pregnant with this sweetheart!

Aliyanna was such a great little baby! She was absolutely obsessed with the camera, and has such an adorable personality. She wanted to walk all over the place but can't quite walk yet, so she crawls around like a bear!Marianna her mom, asked me MONTHS in advance to do this cake smash session! She wanted to make sure her little girl had the best experience for her first birthday! We weren't sure how the weather would behave, but I am so glad that we chose to work in the studio!

I absolutely LOVED Wild Willow Studio for this session!! We shot at noon and the studio light was absolutely perfect. It was bright, even and lit up the entire space. There were so many options for different props that made this session so easy. We had a couch, crib, bed,blankets, faux fir, swaddles, fake plants, and plenty of chairs! We also had a desk and mirror and so many other decor options like flower crowns and blankets!
We wanted to use the entirety of the space so we even used the windows in between the outside of the studio and the inside of the studio as inspiration! Well... Aliyanna wanted to go out there, so we let her roam around and be her natural adorable self!
You can never got wrong with a 1 year birthday cake smash session and this studio was the PERFECT location for it! I made it easy on us by setting down paper table runners for her to sit on the floor. Once she was finished with being messy, we just wrapped it all up, and threw it away! No mess, no stress, and the most adorable pictures came out of it!

Aliyanna definitely knows she's the princess, but also loves her momma more than anything in the world.
I actually teared up a bit when I finished this session She's SO DANG CUTE! I am so glad that Marianna reached out to me to set up this session and that I was able to make the connection with her over a year ago when she graduated!!
