Megan and Casey met at a local Utah Credit Union service center.  They both worked in the same department annnnnd let's just say they had the goo goo eyes for each other when they met.  They started dating (& became the talk of the department for how cute they were) and eventually Casey proposed in March 2013!  They were married that same year on Sept 12 and celebrated their 6 year anniversary in 2019!!

These two sweet & kind souls still treat each other like sweethearts.  The love they have for one another is so pure.  They have had many challenges they have faced together, especially with the unexpected complications in the birth of their second child Reese, but those challenges have brought them closer to each other, to their families and to God.  Megehn shared with me that she doesn't know where she would be without Casey. "I truly believe he was sent to me" and this showed in their exuberance in one another!!!!  I am so grateful they allowed me to capture a small portion of that love.

They are parents to two beautiful kids; Hudson who is two years old this October of 2019 and Reese who just turned one month old!
Hudson was NOT sure about talking to me or even looking at me (he's so cuteeee though!) Hudson had the look of major stranger danger at first, but he eventually warmed up to me when I let him hold my moose stuffed animal (an immensely handy tool to get kids to look at the camera).
Currently, Casey works in real estate and is  able to work from home!!! Megehn is on maternity leave and she loves having her sweetie working at home.  She never has to change their sweet newborn Reese's poopy diaper!
Our session was going to be beautiful and sunny, but the day came and we were hit with major brisk winds.  These photos LOOK warm & cozy but this sweet family were troopers to engage with one another and still do their best to enjoy the memories regardless of weather!  Megehn & Casey trusted me to direct them to ensure that they looked and felt their best!
After our session, they expressed gratitude their excitement for the photos (always one of my favorite things to hear!) and explained to me that their last professional photo experience was when Hudson was about one month old.  I asked them why it's taken them so long to get updated photos to which Megehn replied " the last experience it was an absolute nightmare for us."

I am a 'people centered photographer'.  This means I always push myself to provide the best scenario for success in every session. I show my clients what family sessions should look, act & FEEL like.  My experience is made to be individual, unique, special and attuned to each person. I work diligently to ensure that my client experience is top notch!   After their first photo shoot experience, Megehn wanted to find HER photographer, the person she goes to unfailingly for amazing work and I hope that the Martinez family will look to me in the future for all their photo needs!
The Martinez family was so sweet and patient.  They came excited and ready to capture memories with their little ones and I am so grateful for their support, trust, and love of my dedicated work.
