I've known the Butz family for many years but never had met Nick or his family. His aunt Elvia and uncle Eric moved into my parents neighborhood a few years ago. So when I got a message from Erendira Butz, I KNEW they had to be related!
Nick graduated from Layton High School class of 2018! Nick works with their fathers trucking company and enjoys the opportunity to work together with his family.
He is going to be serving the people of Reno, Nevada starting Jan 2019 as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints.
One of the things I loved the most about getting to know Nick Butz is how willing he is to grow, learn and take on the world. Nick is so dedicated to knowing what is right for him and won't let anything or anyone sway him in his path. He was so fun and energetic for the entire shoot and made my job so easy! He was a bit nervous at first, but once we got into the rhythm of things, he seemed relaxed and we all enjoyed the session despite the fact that it was the middle of December!! (AKA 30 degrees and freezing winds!)
You can see in Nick's eyes; the sense of direction, confidence, truth in what he wants and where he is going. He has a way of being silly, young and free as well as a complete gentleman, full of drive and love for life. These traits that he carries are going to help him be an absolute AMAZING missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints.
Nick's best friend and sister, Maddy was there to assisting him and be moral support! The Butz family are extremely caring, special and inviting people. I feel so lucky to have spent the time that I have with Nick and his best friend and sister Maddy as well as the brief time I spent with Nick's family revealing his session to them!
