The Eves family was one of the sweetest families and my favorite kind of session to have as a Utah Family Photographer! They were so accommodating and wonderful to work with!  For a Portrait Photographer, having a family go above and beyond at an extended family session like this makes my abilities to serve them even easier!  This session was held at the Great Salt Lake Shorelands Preserve and Wildlife Sanctuary in Layton, Utah!

My sister from another mister, Kelsey fell in love with Nick and became a member of the Eves wanted me to take their family photos as a mother’s day present for their mom I felt so honored! Dan and Sharon have the greatest kids and most adorable little grandkids I've ever seen...
We initially had to reschedule due to some sick kiddos but it worked out beautifully in the end!  Everyone was ready to rock and roll when we started the session.  The kids were very excited that I brought candy to bribe them with! I’m sure regardless of the candy that they would have behaved with the same amount of respect and kindness as they did that day.  But I always bring some candy as an extra bribe for a cute giggle here and there ;)

Each family was so sweet and so easy to photograph with total understanding that their kids don't have to be perfect to capture each of their raw and candid personalities!  The Eves were so cooperative, even to the point that Grandpa, (Dan Eves) fetched a jumbo umbrella from the car and held it above my head!  This kind act not only gave me more mobility, but allowed for me to capture my vision, serve them even MORE and provided a plethora of cohesive images for every single family!
I love family sessions and I love being able to capture and serve these families as they are; beautifully diverse and unique!
