Luke and Catherine met in High school and have been sweethearts ever since! They were married in 2015 and sweet Audrey was born November 2nd 2019! Audrey turned eight months old this July (WHAT time freakin flies) and she is the smiley-est (is that a word? Well it is now! Ha!) and sweetest little one; so full of joy and happiness! She adores her puppy and wants to tug, love and grab doggy fur & ears all day long.
The Hering family was so easy to photograph! I am always ecstatic when clients want sessions in studios! Not only do studios give the perfect playground of lifestyle, in home and cozy vibes but also provide tons of variety! Everywhere in a studio has gorgeous lighting. Every photo looks perfect because we are working in a blank slate of a room! We can REALLY capture the relationships, love, personalities and connection of those moments.
Audrey LOVED the camera and the attention. She also absolutely adores her mom and dad. As Luke was holding her she started getting teary (crocodile tears are a baby's specialty). He started talking, kissing and tickling her to make her laugh. She immediately went into smiles, giggles and happiness!
The best part of their session was letting them interact; be a family as well as an adorable couple. Luke and Catherine truly love each other and it was so refreshing to feel and witness. Their love is truly unique and special. It’s not a flaunting or forced. When they look at each other you can see the connection; they think the world of one another. Each time I get to photograph a unique and amazing family like the Hering’s, It reaffirms to me how much I love that my specialty of portraits and families.
